Mysore Silk Sarees in Pragathi Nagar
Mysore silk is the saree women reach for when they want silk elegance without silk weight. Woven in pure crepe mulberry silk with a slim gold zari border, it drapes close to the body, pleats cleanly and carries a soft matte glow that photographs beautifully in daylight. At Nakshathra Boutique in Pragathi Nagar we stock a curated Mysore silk range for brides, mothers of the bride and families across Bachupally, Nizampet, Kukatpally, KPHB, Miyapur and greater Hyderabad.

Mysore Silk vs Kanchi Pattu
Both are pure silk, but they serve different moments in a wedding calendar.
- Mysore silk: lighter, crepe finish, slim zari, all-day comfort
- Kanchi pattu: heavier, structured body, thick korvai zari border
- Mysore for seemantham, nalangu, reception and festive wear
- Kanchi pattu for muhurtham and temple ceremonies
Matching Blouse & Embroidery
We cut blouses to your exact measurements from the saree's blouse piece or a matched contrast fabric. Light aari, pearl or thread work suits Mysore silk better than heavy stonework, since the fabric is fine — we advise on placement so the silk never puckers.
Care Instructions
Dry clean only, and always store folded in cotton or muslin rather than plastic. Refold along a different line every few months so the zari does not crease permanently, and keep away from direct sunlight and perfume sprays.
Delivery Timeline
Sarees are available immediately from stock. Matching blouse stitching takes 10 to 14 days, or 3 weeks with hand embroidery. Rush service is available on request.
Suitable Occasions
Seemantham, nalangu, engagement, reception, temple visits, festive gatherings, office festival days and trousseau gifting.
